Doggie Street Festival is committed to:

Bringing the entire dog rescue community countywide together, everyone is invited and welcome to attend free of charge with adoptable dogs.

Celebrating our pet companions by organizing this public forum/Festival to advocate for responsible pet adoption; numbers of homeless dogs are escalating due in part, to our flagging economy.

Increasing public awareness about the causes of pet-overpopulation from random breeding, neglect, abandonment and misinformation among other things.

Encouraging spay/neuter advantages, key to decreasing rescue and shelter overpopulation and euthanasia.

Educating dog owners on issues of pet health, welfare, training, care and well being at our "Ask A Pet Professional" Booth and from our guest speakers on stage.

Introducing the next generation; kids and youth to the importance of choosing pet adoption, as well as care and safety around their companion dogs at our Kids Art Area.

Urging the community/society at large to act, advocate and work together to effect change and help end the tragedy of pet homelessness.
