Award-winning filmmaker Jude Pauline Artenstein has
worked on a range of film and television projects through her San Diego based company Cinewest Productions.
Ms. Artenstein, Line Produced the critically acclaimed hit comedy, "A Day Without A Mexican".
She co-wrote and directed the feature film “Love Always” which premiered at the HBO Comedy Arts Festival and aired on Lifetime Movie Channel. She was the Producer of “Break of Dawn,” an award-winning film set in 1930’s Los Angeles
that premiered at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival, in addition to airing on Telemundo, PBS’s American Playhouse and the BBC.
Cinewest has garnered recognition for its internationally distributed documentaries such as
"Ballad of An Unsung Hero," "Diana Kennedy: Cuisines of Mexico," and the recent PBS aired, award-winning "Tijuana Jews."
Ms. Artenstein was co-owner and co-curator of San Diego's premiere film and video exhibition space,
Café Cinema where she screened and hosted filmmakers, artists, poets, journalists among other public figures.
Currently Jude is producing/directing a documentary film titled "RESCUE ME" about homeless dogs and the people who rescue them. |
